The Lois M. Nelson Theatre
A beautiful vintage theatre for your next event!
The Lois M. Nelson Theatre, located within the Collingwood Arts Center facility, is a 600 seat theatre (350 main floor and 250 balcony) with a proscenium stage and a house floor orchestra pit. Built in 1906, the theatre features vintage chandelier house lighting, newly installed padded seats, and a domed ceiling providing exquisite acoustics.
The theatre features sound and lighting systems, three dressing areas, fly system, projection screen, Steinway grand piano in orchestra pit, and lobbies on the main floor and balcony.
This venue is perfect for plays, music and dance recitals, concerts, meetings and ceremonies, and much more!
Previous events have included dance recitals, international rock bands, children's theatre troupes, plays and musicals, chamber ensembles, graduation ceremonies, choir concerts, and classical musicians and weddings.
