Alice Grace
Painting in oil & acrylic, ceramics, wood carving, glass work, textiles.
Alice Grace, a 30 year resident of Toledo, Ohio says “all that she sees” in her environment is her inspiration. A group of people walking, a child posed in prayer, the sky and the land all churn her inner desire to capture those moments on canvas. It is an opportunity to alter the negative into the positive says Alice. “Painting takes me out of chaos and monotony into a state of well-being and allows me to express myself,” she adds. “I enjoy the reaction I get from those who have had an opportunity to experience my inner joy (thru my artistic expression),” adds Alice. She says painting is therapeutic, and a free association with the world around her. “It’s what I would do even if I weren’t paid. It’s my passion,” says Alice Grace. She currently works out of her studio, Suite 111 at The Collingwood Arts Center, Toledo, Ohio.
Ronald Jamison
Painting in acrylic.
My earliest influences as an artist were my Father, Artes Jamison, Sr. and my Uncle, Johana Nicoles. They encouraged me to explore different techniques and to study the great artists in history. Knowing I had the same birthday as Michaelango, March 6, was another big influence. Some of my fondest memories  are of the times I would take in the galleries of The Toledo Museum of Art, gazing at the collections which featured some of the finest artists in history. I appreciate different styles in modern art Abstract Cubism. My work leans more toward classic subjects because of my love for the human figure and iconic themes. I often work using themes like The Bible, concepts like Justice or the “three graces,” and the natural elements of fire, air, water and earth. The word I would use for my work is “cosmic”. I use color and movement to represent the power of nature and the universe. I tend to work within myself to find a unique expression in art. The female image which I depict often was historically used in art to describe and symbolize virtuous ideas or concepts.

Photography
Who is Chris Maher? I'm an artist, photographer, computer geek, writer, husband, father, and otherwise normal human being, not necessary in that order. I've been online since 1985, when modems were slow and online destinations were both rare and expensive. I live in the township of Bedford, which is located in Southern Michigan, in the USA.

Jim Williams
Murals & Paintings in Acrylic
Mr. Williams began painting when he was in the third grade. His first exhibit was while he was still a student in junior high when he competed with citywide high school students being the youngest student to participate. While in high school, Mr. Williams attended a special art class/workshop under the guidance of Miss Attie, and later that year won a scholarship for art. Immediately after high school, one of his paintings won a international award from President Richard M. Nixon and was chosen to represent the United States of America as an art exchange with the U.S.S.R. where it remains on permanent display in Moscow. Mr. Williams moved to New York to pursue a career in another one of his great loves, music. After several years of recording, he returned to Toledo where he soon was commissioned to paint wall sized and full room murals. Some of his murals and paintings are on display at the Erie Street Market, throughout Toledo, and the United States and Canada. Mr. Williams is a strong supporter of the Toledo School for the Arts Kaleidoscope Program, a fund raiser for students of the elementary and high school level, and has donated paintings for the event. Mr. Williams has recently traveled to Marthas Vinyard to complete a mural consignment and several paintings. These days, Jim lives by the slogan "Have brush, will travel".
